Inventors of medical improvements and professionals with ideas of new medical equipment will be descending on Stoke to get to grips with how to take their ideas and inventions further.
As part of their drive to uncover more of the innovative potential that exists in the area, Staffordshire and Black Country Business Innovation Centre (BIC) are holding a Medical Innovation Evening to encourage those with medically specific ideas to come forward and get free and confidential advice and support.
The event, which is taking place on Wednesday 6 March at Spode Visitor Centre in Stoke, will feature three guest speakers, including; Dr Vijay Reddy of Snowhill who, on the back of his invention the Reddylite, now has his own trading company GVR Products which employs 4 people and exports across the world. Also speaking will be Cindy Quirk of local solicitors Knight and Sons about Intellectual Property and Mike White of Arvada Marketing about the New Product Development Process.
All visitors will also have access to BIC advisors who can advise in confidence on any aspect of innovation. Anyone with an idea or invention related to the medical industry is welcome. For more details ring our enquiry line on 0845 845 8020. The event will start at 7pm and refreshments and a light buffet will be available.
