The BIC was pleased to have sponsored the Key Note Speaker at this year's Let's Do Business in Uttoxeter on 27 June. The BIC has been exhibiting at Let's Do Business for many years and has always found it a worthwhile event. When the sponsoring opportunities came up it was a foregone conclusion that we would sponsor the Key Note Speaker - Rachel Elnaugh who set up Red Letter Days and sat on the first two series of Dragons Den where she invested in four businesses. Rachel gave an honest and interesting insight into setting up Red Letter Days and her experience on the Dragons Den.

Olympic Innovations

It’s been wonderful following Team GB at the Rio Olympics, we did so well coming second in the Medals table.  We got so many golds, so many FIRSTS.  And we’ve seen many Firsts in Innovations in Technology helping the adjudicators and referees, Innovations in training helping the athletes reach their maximum fitness but can you remember Dick Fosbury in the Mexico Olympics in 1968 where he first introduced the Fosbury Flop?

1000th BIC Workshop Delegate

The BIC was proud to welcome their 1000th workshop delegate Linda Walker to their Leadership in Innovation workshop in Stafford on 16 June 2016. Linda who is from OSCAT Health & Safety consultancy in Cannock Chase was presented with a Certificate and a bottle of Champagne from the BIC's Director of Innovation Sandra Butterworth.
