The new Lymedale Court enterprise units ensure that small businesses get the flexibility they need when it comes to accommodation.
Staffordshire County Council are to launch the units on 28th January 2002.
The units, which are managed by the BIC on behalf of the county council, provide
flexible accommodation that better suits the demands of local small firms.
The units also have the added benefit of onsite support from the BIC who are
trained to provide an advice and signposting service to tenants, as well as
providing innovation counsellors to deal with new product development queries.
Adrian Davies, Managing Director of eSolution, the first tenant of the scheme
stresses the importance of the flexibility to his business ‘ we are going
through a very important phase in our companies growth and have very ambitious
plans for the future. Offices like these are ideally suited for companies like
ours who need support and flexibility without the shackles of high rents and
long leases’.
The units are to be officially opened by County Councillor John Wakefield, Leader
of Development Services and County Councillor Eddie Boden. Both will give a
short presentation along with Geoff Riley of the BIC. Other invited guests include
Newcastle MP Paul Farrelly, representatives from the North Staffordshire Partnership
and local council.
