New Product Development Grants of up to 6k are still available to SMEs within the Stafford Borough
The grants of up to 6k are specifically intended for companies to employ additional human resources to work on an innovative project. The grant can be used towards employing a student, unemployed person or a consultant and will cover 40% of the employment costs.
PRISTINE an acronym for Providing Resources, Information, Skills and Technology for Innovative Enterprise aims to encourage new product development within small companies in the Stafford area. The project has already awarded over 300,000 to local companies.
The project does not have to be rocket science but needs to have a suitably innovative content. Previous projects have included a data logger for emergency vehicles, a new type of search engine for the internet and new materials for waterproof clothing.
For more details contact the BIC to find out if your project is eligible.
