Cannock companies can learn the secrets of innovation in 4 hours

  Topic: BIC News

A workshop designed to provide companies with the focus and structure to take some of the risk out of innovation comes to Cannock.

Staffordshire and Black Country Business Innovation Centre (BIC) kick-start their workshop series in 2002 by providing Cannock companies with a framework to introduce new products to their businesses. The New Product Development Workshop aims to provide companies with a proven and structured approach to developing and introducing new products to the marketplace.

In the age of customers needing more from companies before they part with their cash it is important for companies to continuously update products and introduce new items. As with most new ideas, innovation can often be a hit or miss affair, which is where the workshop proves invaluable. By providing a documented approach the workshop cuts out pitfalls and helps to reduce the risk involved.

The workshop, which is subsidised by the ERDF and local SRB programmes, takes place between 4.00 and 8.00pm on Wednesday 13 February and costs 30+VAT although those businesses located within the SRB areas are eligible for a further 50% discount.

Delegates in the North of the County have already benefited from the workshop and the feedback has been positive, encouraging the BIC to bring it to other areas of the county including; Cannock, Stafford, Burntwood and Stoke-on-Trent
