The Business Innovation Centre (BIC) is part of a European network of over 150 organisations which assist businesses and individuals to evaluate and develop inventions and technology related ideas.

Provide advice on inventions, innovation and technology
Assist with new product development and locate potential manufacturers
Business planning and financial forecasting
Identify markets and their potential, market research and planning
Source UK and European grants and funding
discuss legal aspects of inventions

What does it cost?

The BIC is supported by local sponsors the European Regional Development Fund and the Government's Single Regeneration Budget through Advantage West Midlands.

This means much of the work carried out is free of charge. However, for detailed work carried out on your behalf, charges are agreed with you in advanced, and calculated on a cost recovery basis.
