This month the BIC welcomes a new addition to our team – Rachel Alcock. Rachel takes up the role of Accounts Administrator which was vacated by our colleague Sally who is now our Research & Development Adviser.

Rachel has worked in accounts for the last 10+ years, she is AAT Level 3 qualified and has experience in a range of businesses from Manufacturing to Retail.

In her new role, Rachel will be helping out with the accounts and the administration of European, Regional and UK funded projects where claims are collated and submitted on a quarterly basis. She will also be looking after the general running of the Office when we are all back to normal.

She is finding it very strange starting a new job working from home but at least it is giving her the time to read up about the operation of the BIC, its activities and the in’s and outs of the current projects they are running. Rachel is looking forward to working with the team face to face once they are back together in the Longton office.
